AT&T launched AT&T Mobile Barcode Services, which it said enables businesses to “create, publish and manage 1D (UPC) and 2D (QR and Data Matrix) barcodes.” The introduction follows a trial started last year, and to promote the service the operator is to print codes on customers’ bills, enabling them to access account information.
