Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a new contract by Hi Link Telecom for the deployment of a greenfield mobile broadband network in Al Anbar province in Iraq, reports Telecompaper. Alcatel-Lucent will provide CDMA wireless networking equipment, including CDMA radio access, core network elements and microwave backhaul services.
