A new service called Tomorrow Networks has been launched that enables developers to target US healthcare professionals with mobile applications. The two companies behind the service are Physicians Interactive Holdings, a provider of healthcare information to doctors, and Remedy Systems, a healthcare mobile app developer. The new service carries advertising which is its funding model.

“Tomorrow Networks was designed to solve problems we experienced as developers in this industry. Healthcare app developers are no different than other app developers. We’re both looking for ways to distribute our applications to an audience that is most likely to download and use them,.” said Matt Wiggins, the CEO of Remedy Systems.  He said the service already reaches “over 275,000 healthcare professionals and growing”.
