Orange named two of its deputy CEOs, Ramon Fernandez (pictured) and Pierre Louette, as CEO delegates, effective from 1 January 2016.

The move now gives Orange three CEO delegates, with the new appointees joining European head, Gervais Pellissier, who was appointed to the position in November 2011.

Orange said the appointments were “aligned with practises implemented by other major international groups” and are intended to strengthen group governance, “enabling it to better reflect the diversity of its activities and its challenges”.

As with Pellissier, Orange said Fernandez and Louette will “exercise these important mandates for Orange in addition to their current positions within the group executive committee”.

Fernandez serves as one of five deputy CEOs at the company, as well as heading up group finance and strategy, while Louette, also a deputy CEO, is in charge of the general secretariat, Orange Wholesale France, and a number of other internal positions.

Overall, 12 representatives serve in Orange’s executive committee, alongside CEO Stephane Richard.

Fabienne Dulac, Bruno Mettling and Laurent Paillassot are the group’s other deputy CEOs, according to its website.
