Struggling HTC has announced revenue for August 2013 of TWD13.2 billion ($443 million), a 45 per cent decline over the same month last year.
The handset vendor reported revenue of TWD24.0 billion in August 2012.
Its performance is also disappointing on a sequential basis. The August 2013 revenue figure is a fall of 16 per cent from the TWD15.7 billion reported in July.
The July figure was itself judged to be a weak performance so the latest numbers are more bad news for embattled HTC.
The company has already warned that the current quarter (July-September) will be loss-making.
Total revenue from January to August 2013 was TWD142.4 billion.
