Vodafone Group is setting up a new Global Enterprise unit as of 1 January 2013, which includes accelerating its integration of the Cable & Wireless Worldwide business it acquired earlier this year.

Vodafone Global Enterprise will be split into four divisions: Global Enterprise, Carrier Services, M2M, and Hosting and Cloud Services.

It will be headed by Nick Jeffery, current CEO of CWW, who will report to Vittorio Colao, group CEO.

The four will be “full worldwide business units with presence in 50 countries”, and be supported by dedicated Enterprise Channels and Sales Operations, and Enterprise Products and Marketing teams.

Vodafone has already said it expects to incur integration costs of £500 million in the period to March 2016, following the CWW buy.

It is expected to deliver “cash flow synergies” of £150 million to £200 million per year by March 2016, resulting in operating free cash flow for the Group in that year of £250 million to £300 million from the acquisition.
