Ericsson aims to win a number of new LTE network contracts in the coming year from operators including Japan’s NTT Docomo, according to an interview the Swedish vendor gave to Dow Jones Newswires. Ericsson has several trials ongoing with operators, and NTT DoCoMo will decide in 2010 whether to choose the world’s largest supplier of network equipment as its supplier of LTE technology.
