ZTE announced availability of its Blade L2 smartphone in Spain and Greece, with plans to launch the device in other countries later this year, including Germany, UK, Slovakia, Mexico, Chile, Columbia and Venezuela.

Blade L2 – part of ZTE’s “affordable” Blade series – has a 5-inch display, a MediaTek 1.3GHz quadcore processor, 1GB RAM, and a rear and front camera (5MP and 0.3MP respectively).

It runs on Android 4.2 and comes equipped with a 2000 mAh battery.

Blade L2 comes pre-installed with Evernote, Dropbox, Facebook and Twitter.

“We’ve had huge success with our Blade series to date in Europe, and we’re excited to introduce the latest edition,” said AO Wen, general manager at ZTE’s handset office in Europe. “We’re confident that the ZTE Blade L2 will offer our ever-more discerning customers across Europe a stylish and high performance device at the right price.”
