Xiaomi continued its push into the Indian market with its second locally made smartphone, RedMi Note Prime.

The device has an uninspiring feature set, but then this comes with a INR84,999 ($127) price tag, meaning it is not battling it out with flagship rivals.

It has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) screen, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD slot).

It also has 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, dual-SIM 4G support, and 3100mAh battery.

Xiaomi announced its first Indian-made device, RedMi 2 Prime, in August.
