Vodafone UK said it is offering five Windows Phone 8-powered devices from HTC and Nokia, noting that “we know there is a lot of interest in both the Windows Phone experience and the range of smartphones that use it”.

Two of the devices – Nokia’s Lumia 820 (pictured) and Lumia 920 – are being positioned as “4G Ready”, ahead of launch of the operator’s LTE network. Timeframes for this rollout have not been disclosed, however, what with the UK’s latest spectrum auctions still being underway at time of writing.

Other devices being offered are HTC’s 8S and 8X, and Nokia’s entry-level Lumia 620.

The range will provide Windows Phone devices at various prices, from £21 to £42 on two-year contracts.
