T-Mobile US said it was “disappointed” that BlackBerry decided to end their partnership, while arguing it will be business-as-usual for customers.

“Whether you’re an individual customer or business customer, nothing changes,” John Legere, president and CEO of the company, said in a blog.

Earlier this week, BlackBerry said it was ending its alliance with T-Mobile US because “our strategies are not complimentary and we must act in the best interest of our BlackBerry customers”.

This followed an earlier promotion campaign from the operator which specifically targeted BlackBerry users, offering discounts on Apple’s iPhone 5s.

Legere said that T-Mobile US is offering BlackBerry users a credit of $100 toward any new device, including the ailing mobility player’s Q10 and Z10.
