Samsung added two entry-level Android smartphones in its Galaxy line, called Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flame (pictured).

While the South Korean handset number one has not revealed pricing details, the devices are set to provide an entry-level option for the Galaxy level smartphone line. Unlike Apple, which has focused exclusively on the high-end with its iPhone, Samsung has secured its position in the smartphone market by offering a broader range of terminals, targeting multiple price points.

In fact, the specifications of the devices would have placed them in the premium tier just a couple of years ago. Both are powered by 1GHz processors, run Android 4.1, and have 3.27-inch (Galaxy Young) or 35-ince (Galaxy Flame) touch screen.

3G, Wi-Fi and AGPS are also included in both.

Galaxy Flame will be available in a version with NFC support.

Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flame will be available in dual-SIM versions, depending on markets.
