Samsung announced yet another addition to its mid-tier Android range, this time in the shape of its dual-core, dual-SIM Galaxy Core.

In a statement, the South Korean giant said that the device is “perfect for the optimal balance of portability and power”. Against a backdrop of spiralling screen sizes, the device has a 4.3-inch display.

The Android 4.1-powered Galaxy Core has a 1.2GHz dual core processor, HSPA connectivity, 5-megapixel camera, A-GPS and Wi-Fi. Storage comes from its 8GB of onboard memory and microSD expansion slot.

It will be available in dual-SIM version from May 2013, and single-SIM from July.
