Posh Mobile, a US-based device vendor, trumpeted what it claims is “the market’s smallest GSM smartphone”, in the shape of the 2.4-inch screen Micro X S240.

The $89.99 Android 4.4 device is said to offer “a perfect union of style, function and affordability”. It is powered by a dual-core 1.0GHz MediaTek processor, with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage and microSD memory slot.

It includes HSPA+ connectivity, 2MP rear and VGA front cameras.

Black, white, blue and pink versions are available.

Posh Mobile already offers a range of devices with more familiar form factors, across smartphones, phablets and tablets. It said its portfolio is sold by “operators, MVNOs, retailers, e-tailers and independent wireless dealers globally”.
