Motorola is reported to be readying an update to its popular Moto G budget smartphone, although the changes made will be incremental rather than the vendor unveiling any surprises.

According to SlashGear, the cameras – one of the weaker aspects of Moto G – have been upgraded to 13MP on the rear (from 8MP) and 5MP (from 2MP) on the front. It will also have a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, upgraded from a 32-bit Snapdragon 400.

The report said that the device will retain the 5-inch 720p screen, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage (with microSD slot) of the current Moto G.
