LG is reported to have pulled its LTE-enabled Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, around a week after launch, due to unspecified hardware problems.

According to Android Central, the issue was found during quality assurance testing, and it’s still unclear if it will be relaunched in the future. It also cited an internal memo which said all devices were to be removed from the store immediately.

When the device was unveiled last month, the vendor said it “works seamlessly with Android smartphones or can go it alone, when carrying a smartphone isn’t practical or convenient”.

It began rolling out in November, initially in the US and South Korea, ahead of Europe, Asia and CIS.
