Kyocera unveiled what it described as “the only rugged 4G LTE smartphone with a super wide view 1080p action camera”.

Called DuraForce Pro, the company said the super wide functionality was previously reserved for dedicated action cameras, and the phone can also be integrated with existing action camera mounts. It has underwater, slow motion and time-lapse modes.

And the rugged device also comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.

Reflecting its enterprise credentials, it also features a dedicated side button for push-to-talk, which can be reprogrammed by users for other functions if preferred. It has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

DuraForce Pro boasts 13MP rear and 5MP front facing cameras. It has a 5-inch full HD screen, and is powered by an octacore Qualcomm chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
