After an apparent customer outcry to last week’s announcement that Rogers was not going to carry the Z30, Blackberry’s latest flagship phone, Canada’s largest mobile operator has had a change of heart and will now welcome the device into its portfolio fold.

In statement, Rogers said it looked forward to offering the new Z30 “in response to customers’ feedback and excitement about the device”.

Rogers will be making the Z30 available online, through its national reservation system, as well as directly to business customers.

A long-time supporter of the Canadian phone manufacturer, Rogers already carries a range of Blackberry smartphones, including Z10, Q10 and Q5.
