Naver, South Korea’s leading internet portal, joined forces with the country’s three mobile operators to launch a unified app store.

The three operators – SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus — last year set up a joint app store called the One Store.

Naver plans to invest KRW10 billion ($8.7 million) over the next three years in the venture, which is scheduled to open in June, Yonhap news agency said.

The One Store will make use of Naver’s other existing services, such as Naver Pay, which launched last June. In addition to payment authentication, Naver Pay boasts a tracking system for deliveries and refunds through an integration with the company’s checkout system.
