India’s telecoms minister, Andimuthu Raja, has revealed he expects there to be further cuts in mobile termination rates (MTRs) in 2010, Dow Jones reports, notes TeleGeography. The Telecoms Regulatory Authority of India cut termination charges for all domestic calls on fixed and mobile lines by a third in March this year, to INR0.20 (US$0.004) per minute.
