Zemingo on acquisition trail – report

16 APR 2015

Israeli app development firm Zemingo is reported to be “on the hunt for more acquisitions” as it looks to double its annual sales.

According to Reuters, the company, which bought US studio Yellowtale for $2.5 million late last year, is looking to “strengthen its position in the burgeoning market for customised apps to help businesses operate more efficiently”.

Target markets include growth sectors such as wearables and IoT, as well as development studios with a strong client base.

Zemingo, which has 80 staff and is looking to hire 50 more this year, is “very profitable” and doubling sales every year, chief executive Tsiki Naftaly told the publication.
