Mobile and social games company WildTangent, in partnership with Infomedia – a mobile web and app specialist – has secured a distribution deal with EE, the UK’s largest mobile operator.

WildTangent games can be played for free (provided ads are accepted) while customers can earn in-game items.

For the first time, users will also be able to buy games – or pay for in-game purchases – through their monthly bills or pay-as-you-go credit.

The EE deal builds on other operator partnerships for the mobile games company, including T-Mobile US and AT&T.

WildTangent has also made recent moves to expand its reach through integration on Asus tablets and Sony Xperia devices.

“This partnership with the UK’s largest network marks a significant new chapter for us,” said Sean Vanderdasson, senior VP at WildTangent. “The EE network is the perfect opportunity to bring our service to more mobile gamers in the UK.”
