Games distributor WildTangent is to start developing games for a range of mobile platforms at a new studio in Seattle. WildTangent has hired former PopCap studio art director Rick Schmitz to lead the creative direction of the first game to be built at the site – a follow-up to the Polar Bowler PC game – which will be available in the autumn. WildTangent executive VP of product development Matt Shea said: "We have a number of games already in the queue and will be aggressively hiring to add to our existing talent pool already on board."
