Search and social player TagLikeMe said it is planning to release its mobile apps for three of the major mobile platforms by the end of the year, in what was described as a major step in putting the app in the hands of “virtually anyone who wants to search and share with a social interest”.

It is looking to offer apps for iOS, Android and Windows 8 platforms.

TagLikeMe is an extension to the company’s existing website, which is described as an “internet services platform that combines the most commonly used functions of search and social media interaction in one destination”.

Planned introductions for the apps include enhancements to provide the ability to better manage tags (or bookmarks) and place them into projects; the ability to place projects into folders; more user controlled settings for search and tagging; and the ability to operate seamlessly between and iPad and local desktop or notebook.

TagLikeMe will start its rollout with the introduction of the iOS version (approval has already been recieved), followed by Android, and then the Windows 8 version when this platform reaches the market.
