Mobile social gaming company Star Arcade signed a deal for Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to promote its games portfolio. As the number-one operator in the Kingdom, STC has more than 25 million subscribers who will be able to access the games.

The Star Arcade platform includes multiplayer games, in-app chat and virtual goods that work across Android, Blackberry, iOS, Nokia, Samsung Bada and Windows. “All games built on our Star Arcade platform suit global multiplayer cross platform audiences – like STC’s subscriber base,” said Star Arcade CEO Harri Myllyla.

“Because of Star Arcade’s technology, we can offer multiplayer social games to our customers and feel confident that our customers will be amazed by the capabilities of Star Arcade,” added STC service management director Kerdi Altemiyat.

Star Arcade was created last year and focuses on emerging markets in more than 180 countries. Its technology and games are largely developed in Finland.
