Angry Birds developer Rovio Entertainment introduced a feature that will enable customers to store game progress across multiple devices, called Rovio Account.

This will enable gamers to play on different smartphones or tablets, without losing their progress when changing between devices. Users can also merge scores and achievements from different devices into a single Rovio Account when accessing for the first time.

The feature is currently supported in The Croods game globally, and on Angry Birds for iOS in Finland and Poland.

The company said it will “gradually introduce Rovio Account into more areas in the future and also add new features”.
