Mobile social games company Pocket Gems said it is moving into the mobile publishing market, to “help developers bring their games to iOS and Android devices worldwide”.

Set up in 2009, it said that its games have been downloaded more than 90 million times from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon Appstore.

The company’s publishing arm will “provide partners with the marketing expertise to ensure a successful launch, promotion to find and attract loyal users, customised game design and product advice, and QA support”.

Pocket Gems’ first partners will be dreamfab, Twyngo and WeRPlay.

The first resulting title, dreamfab’s Chasing Yello, is launching this week on Google Play, and soon via Amazon’s Appstore.
