Mobile app monetisation company PlayHaven said it’s now serving more than 10,000 developers and more than 20,000 games – a four-fold increase from a year ago.

Fuelling the growth, the firm said, is the success of its engagement and monetisation offerings, including the recently-launched Push Notifications.

PlayHaven’s platform now covers more than 800 million unique users, a jump of 44 per cent since Q2 (and a 175 per cent leap from October 2012).

There’s also 176 million monthly active users, which is a 38 per cent rise since Q2 (and up 150 per cent since last year).

PlayHaven announced the launch of Push Notifications, in private beta, in July. It has attracted more than 500 developers, including game studios Glu Games, PikPok, Magmic, Ruby Seven Studios and Playnomi.

Push Notifications are now available to all developers in open beta.
