Mobile app monetisation company PlayHaven has acquired analytics start-up Staq.io, which it says will provide developers with better insights into user activity.

Staq.io’s game management platform captures player data and provides advanced, real-time analytics. Developers can also use the platform to test the impact of changes to apps.

The acquisition means PlayHaven can accelerate development of its data analysis capabilities for game developers launching user engagement and monetisation campaigns.

“We both believe that real-time data analysis — particularly in the fast-changing environment of mobile — is the foundation for lifetime value maximisation and look forward to helping developers capture all of their opportunities,” said PlayHaven CEO Andy Yang.
