Mobile social games player ngmoco announced a partnership with Kabam, which it described as “the leading developer of hardcore social games,” to bring selected games franchises to the Android platform.

The first title resulting from the partnership, which will be available via the Mobage platform of ngmoco’s parent DeNA, will be available in “summer 2012.”

Kabam recently expanded its portfolio to include mobile games with the launch of Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North on iOS. In its first month, it has been downloaded more than one million times – the franchise has in total attracted nearly 20 million registered users worldwide.

Andrew Sheppard, president of Kabam, said: “By creating games for multiple platforms, we are able to work with the best partners in the industry and we’re excited to leverage DeNA’s expertise on Android and Mobage’s advanced worldwide network.”
