Israel-based mobile gaming company MoMinis has secured US$6 million in second round funding, which will be used to expand its development team, support new platforms, and add new revenue streams.

The round was led by Gemini Israel Ventures. MoMinis apparently has 100 games in its development pipeline.

MoMinis secured US$4.5 million in funding in April, with the success of its PlayScape “mega game” – which includes a range of titles within a single free Android app – a key element in attracting the investment.

PlayScape allows points, achievements and virtual currency to be transferred between games and currently has around 35 million users.

In September the company said it would open PlayScape to all games on the MoMinis network. The features of games within PlayScape will soon be included in games outside the portal.
