MIPS and Gameloft work to optimise apps for tablets

Processor architecture company MIPS Technologies announced a partnership with Gameloft to optimise a number of games for MIPS-powered tablets. It said that its technology is used in chips from Ingenic Semiconductor, which are used to power tablets from Ainol Electronics, which are currently available for less than US$100.
