Mimvi announced a partnership with Microsoft that will see the app discovery company develop products and services to complement Windows Phone 8 and the Windows Azure cloud computing platform. In return, Microsoft will invest engineering, services, software and cash into Mimvi.

Kasian Franks, founder of the app search company, said the computing giant shares its “mobile vision of the future” and that its “tremendous expertise, resources and reach, combined with Mimvi's best-in-class mobile app search technology is a very exciting proposition".
