Android app monetisation company Metaps said that titles supporting its technology have been downloaded more than 10 million times in one year – it has not stated how many apps this is split across – and that some developers have seen sales of more than US$1 million in half a year. It said its technology offers developers the chance to “attract customers through low-risk reward-based ads, generate revenue from free users through advertisements, increase user activity rates and maximise lifetime user value”.
