Mobile app monetisation company PlayHaven has made its technology available to developers using Marmalade’s cross-platform development tools.

The PlayHaven plug-in aims to allow Marmalade app developers to attract and retain new users and boost the revenue they are able to generate.

Developers can run targeted cost-per-install advertising campaigns on PlayHaven’s mobile advertising network, which has 121 million active monthly users and 2.5 billion games sessions per month.

They can also deliver targeted in-app messages such as cross promotions, rewards and virtual good promotions to customisable user segments.

In addition, PlayHaven provides metrics on game usage, campaigns and revenue, via its web dashboard.

In a post on its blog, Marmalade said: “We believe strongly in giving our community access to a huge range of great third-party tools, and through PlayHaven, Marmalade developers will be able to access an even wider selection of ways to analyse and monetise their apps.”
