Lookout notes increased app threat

Mobile security company Lookout said that during the first half of 2011, the number of apps containing malware found on markets and download sites “grew from 80 to 400 apps.” The two most prevalent, DroidDream and GGTracker, were “regularly” published in new apps during the period.
