Internet services company NHN Japan announced a BlackBerry version of its Line voice and messaging app, stating that it is targeting “users in Southeast Asia, where BlackBerry user numbers remain prominent”. NHN said that it is “important to allow the Line app to be used for various devices and network environments in order to make the app accessible to as many users as possible, thereby raising user numbers”. It is already available for Android, iOS, feature phones, PCs, tablets and Windows Phone.
