Mobile social gaming company Gree struck distribution deals with four independent developers in North America, as part of its efforts to support the growth of the social games market.

As well as having their games distributed by Gree, the quartet Gamenauts, InfiniDy, Oceanside Interactive and SkyVu Entertainment  will also benefit from the company’s best practice knowledge while retaining control of their intellectual property.

Gree senior director of developer relations Ben Chen said the company is “committed to maximising our developers' opportunities” through the use of its platform technology.

"There is no doubt that the indie community is responsible for pushing innovation in our industry, and we're incredibly excited to see our new partners excel,” he added.
