Google announced availability of the full software development kit for Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), enabling the creation and publishing of Android apps targeting the tablet-oriented Android variant. This is accompanied by an update of its SDK Tools and ADT Plugin for Eclipse. The company previously made available a preview of the platform, although products created using the earlier SDK could not be published to Android Market.
