South Korea-based developer Gamevil is investing another US$10 million in its Partner Fund, having used a previous pot of the same size to support “various indie developers across the world.”

According to the company, it used the previous US$10 million to finance “a large portion of the ambitious line up of 46 titles to be released this year,” thereby contributing to Gamevil’s growth.

Gamevil’s partner fund either invests in developers, or provides project funding for specific games.

In a statement, the South Korean company said: “we were initially drawn to the idea of third party publishing because we believe that this industry is filled with talented individuals. By teaming up with third party developers, we’ve been able to feature games that branch out of the concentrated list of RPG titles we have, and expand our library into various other genres.”
