BlackBerry Partners Fund has led a US$2 million seed funding round in Fuse Powered, which it describes as a “data-driven mobile game publisher,” with NFQ Ventures also participating. It was said that the investment will accelerate Fuse “from early-stage to fully-established,” as it finalises its plans for “significant developer and brand partnerships, new business initiatives and mobile game launches in the coming months.” The cash will be used to expand its staffing, technology infrastructure, partnership support, and business development activities. Currently, Fuse is focused on iOS products.

Formed in 2009, Fuse is a mobile games company “with a focus on maximising customer value and game discovery through the use of proprietary tools and real-time analytics software.” It offers comprehensive analytics tools to support its mobile development partners, such as real-time game performance dashboards and data-driven business plans. It also uses its “high-profile games to build large audiences and visibility for development partners in the App Store,” as well as “advising partners on how to best monetise their games, community and marketing initiatives.”
