App analytics firm Flurry claims that response to the release of its AppSpot product – a monetisation platform that helps publishers earn more advertising revenue – has been “incredible”, with over 1,000 developers already signed up. Launched four weeks ago, AppSpot publishers are earning average eCPMs of US$5.80, double the industry average. The service combines Flurry’s analytics for mobile devices with an app advertising platform that enables publishers to organise and enable access to their audiences in ways that advertisers want to target and buy.
