Mobile social game developer Dragonplay has launched a publishing division, to help developers bring their games to iOS and Android devices.

Dragonplay Casual will share the company’s expertise with developers who may not have “the infrastructure to publish and support a game on iOS or Android”, according to Sharon Tal, founder and CEO.

“Our aim is to provide our players with a larger and more diverse catalogue of games, while allowing our developer partners to focus on game creation,” she added.

Dragonplay localises Asian content to make it suitable for other markets, and has launched five hit games since 2012. It has seen more than 30 million downloads through Google Play.

The first game to be launched by Dragonplay Casual will be social RPG Gun N’ Blade which is due to be released in the coming months. The game was originally launched in South Korea, performing strongly on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

Dragonplay, which secured $14 million in funding last year, will continue to develop and support its own games.
