App analytics company Distimo has added a conversion tracking SDK to its product portfolio, allowing developers to measure the impact of their marketing efforts on revenue and app installs.

The addition of the SDK means developers can combine data from app stores with conversion tracking, which Distimo said will allow them to “accelerate and maintain their growth”.

The conversion tracking software aims to allow developers to measure the conversion process from app promotion to install, giving a greater understanding of the most effective promotion channels for particular apps.

The lifetime value of users per campaign can also be tracked so developers can identify trends and areas for improvement.
