EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: It’s not easy to predict which new platforms will become “the next best thing” for apps after smartphones, be it smartwatches or TV, so developers must consider them all, says Max Cavazzani, CEO of Etermax, the company behind Trivia Crack.

“Nobody knew smartphones would become so big, developers need to consider all kinds of devices,” Cavazzani told Mobile World Live. “If they take too long to get there they may miss out on an important opportunity.”

He also believes developers must look at all kinds of new technologies and see how they can use it to make great things and improve their products.

“We did an Apple Watch app, we are working in TV and virtual reality,” he said, adding that the company is also looking to launch an artificial intelligence lab later this year.

He also spoke about Trivia Crack X, with the ‘x’ standing for expression, which will allow users to create their own quizzes and share them on social media, as well as a new chat app.

“We blur the lines between social networks and games. Games are a way of communicating with other people and something to talk about and relate to,” he explained.
