App monitoring company Crittercism has said that its free crash reporting platform will support Apple’s recently-announced iOS6 mobile OS.

Developers will be able to use Crittercism’s technology to quickly identify and resolve compatibility issues with the new OS. The SDK for the crash reporting service can be downloaded for free from the Crittercism website.

Crittercism’s technology also enables developers to get an overview of stability, display and performance issues for apps designed for the iPhone 5, allowing them to prioritise and fix major issues to protect apps from poor reviews.

Once the SDK has been installed in their app, developers can log into the Crittercism site and see the bugs that have been identified in the code of their app.

"iOS6 offers developers new features that will improve their iOS apps. We are dedicated to helping app developers from the smallest garage based indie developers up to the largest global publishers make better apps," said Crittercism co-founder and CEO Andrew Levy.
