App promotion player Chartboost’s platform is driving four billion game sessions per month with more than 8,000 games now within its network, one year after it launched.

Over the past nine months, the number of game sessions initiated by its platform has increased by 300 percent, while the number of games on the platform has increased by 700 percent.

The company has reached more than105 million unique visitors, with mobile game makers such as TinyCo, PocketGems, Killo and Get Set Games using its technology.

Maria Alegre, Chartboost CEO, said the company is taking market share away from traditional mobile game ad networks. "We know how developers work, how games monetizse, and how users discover new, great games. This has set us apart and we look forward to continue leading the industry," she said.

Chartboost recently expanded operations in China, South Korea and Japan and plans to double the size of its team in San Francisco over the next six months.
