Mobile app backend-as-a-service (BaaS) player Buddy.com released a new mobile app analytics dashboard to provide customer engagement data to help marketers, publishers and advertisers maximise their investment.

Buddy Analytics Dashboard provides visual reports, user statistics around customer engagement and conversion metrics as well as demographic, social and geo-location data.

Buddy.com claims the technology will allow for integrated digital media campaign planning around apps so that brands can optimise their mobile marketing investment.

Buddy.com CEO and co-founder, David McLauchlan said mobile has been a “blind spot” for advertisers as they lack visibility into marketing data.

“Our Buddy Analytics Dashboard is the first solution to measure true mobile consumer engagement, creating standardised metrics for buying or selling digital media, and optimising apps for target customers,” he added.

More than 15,000 global developers are using Buddy.com’s enterprise-grade BaaS with more than 16,500 apps on its platform. Customers include Nokia and Microsoft.
