Antivirus company Bitdefender announced its Clueful app, which it said is “the world’s first and only app that tells you which iOS apps may be accessing more information than they need.”

The company said that it displays which apps track a user’s location, drain batteries, access the address book, serve ads, track and aggregate usage through analytics networks, “are careless with your usernames and passwords,” or access Facebook, Twitter or Google accounts.

Clueful works by retrieving audit information from the cloud, and will also enable users to examine apps before installation.
