Health apps developers Azumio raised US$2.5 million in Series A funding, which it said will be used “to expand its product development.” The company is the creator of Instant Heart Rate, which enables customers to measure heart rates by holding a finger over the phone’s camera. It has been downloaded more than 8 million times on iPhone and Android devices.
